2026 July 4th Holiday Schedule

Rockland, Orange, Putnam and Westchester Counties

Subscription Customers

• There will be NO trash or recycling pick up on Saturday, July 4th.
• Some service may be impacted on Friday, July 3rd
  • Customers picked up 1x a week on Friday will not be impacted by the holiday.
  • Customers picked up 2x a week with a Friday pick up will be serviced on their next regularly scheduled pick up day.
• Regular service will resume on Monday, July 6th.

Municipal Customers

• Please check with your local municipality or DPW.

Northern New Jersey

Subscription Customers:

Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Sussex, Union, Warren, Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset

• There will be NO trash or recycling pick up on Saturday, July 4th.
• Some service may be impacted on Friday, July 3rd
  • Former Grand customers picked up 1x a week on Fridays, your pick up will be moved to Thursday 7/2.
  • All other customers picked up 1x a week on Fridays will be picked up on Tuesday 7/7.
  • Customers picked up 2x a week with a Friday pick up will be serviced on their next regularly scheduled pick up day.
• Regular service will resume on Monday, July 6th.

Subscription Customers:
You subscribe directly through IWS for your waste & recycling service.  You receive an invoice directly from us for your services.

Municipal Customers:
Your city/town has a contract with us to provide you (and all your neighbors) with waste & recycling services.  You do NOT receive an invoice from us directly, but payment for your services are included in your taxes.
