IWS owns and operates five recycling facilities which process fiber, metal and plastic through both single stream and dual stream collection methods.
Our Bronx Material Recovery Facility is one of the most advanced recycling facilities in the New York Metropolitan area. The award-winning facility uses state-of-the-art optics to efficiently sort, process and separate recyclable materials, which are then baled and readied for sale. In addition to diverting waste from landfills, our recycling solutions assist our continuing efforts to convert traditional waste streams into reusable materials utilized to manufacture everyday items.
