Action Environmental Customers
- NO trash or recycling pick-up on Friday night 7/4 into Saturday morning 7/5.
- Service will resume on your next regularly scheduled pick-up day.
- Please do not place trash or recycling out on Friday night.
- Premium 7-day a week customers will not be impacted by the holiday.
New York State
ROCKLAND, ORANGE, PUTNAM AND WESTCHESTER COUNTIES
- NO trash or recycling pick-up on Friday, 7/4.
- All pickups will be complete by Saturday, 7/5.
Connecticut
- NO trash or recycling pick-up on Friday, 7/4.
- All pickups will be complete by Saturday, 7/5.
New Jersey
Northern New Jersey
Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Sussex, Union, Warren, Northern Morris
- NO trash or recycling pick-up on Friday, 7/4.

Central New Jersey
Southern Morris, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Somerset
- Limited service Friday, July 4th

Residential Customers
How do I know if I am a Subscription or Municipal Customer?
Subscription Customers: You subscribe directly through IWS for your waste & recycling service. You receive an invoice directly from us for your services.
Municipal Customers: Your city/town has a contract with us to provide you (and all your neighbors) with waste & recycling services. You do NOT receive an invoice from us directly, but payment for your services are included in your taxes.
New York
Rockland and Putnam Counties
Subscription Customers

Orange and Westchester Counties
Subscription Customers
- NO trash or recycling pick-up on Friday, 7/4.
- Service will resume on Saturday, 7/5.
Municipal Customers
- Please check with your local municipality or DPW.

- NO trash or recycling pick-up on Friday, 7/4.
- Customers picked up 1x per week on Fridays, will have their pickup moved to Sat July 5.
