As we move through the summer months, I want to take a moment to reflect on where we are as a company and where we are headed. Much has been accomplished over the last few years, with more exciting opportunities on the horizon for IWS.
First, I want to recognize an important achievement: Interstate Waste Services has grown into a business exceeding one billion dollars in annual revenue. This milestone is a direct reflection of our commitment to delivering great service to our customers and the communities we serve.
While this is a moment to be proud, it is also a reminder that our journey is far from complete. At our core, our purpose remains unchanged: we protect our communities by providing essential environmental services safely and reliably every day. That purpose comes to life in every route we run, every customer interaction, and every decision we make. It is driven by our commitment to do the right thing, work as a team, and continuously improve.
As we move forward, our priority remains clear: execution in the field. The foundation of our success is operational excellence. When we deliver consistent, reliable service, maintain our equipment, and operate safely, we build trust with our customers and create a strong platform for continued growth. Everything starts with how we execute every day.
At the same time, we are entering an important phase of transformation as an organization. As we have grown, we must continue to evolve how we operate. Our transformation efforts are focused on improving our processes, enhancing the customer experience, and increasing efficiency across the business. These efforts are essential to building a more scalable, efficient, and resilient company.
As part of this, we will continue to invest in what matters most:

- Our capabilities, to better serve customers and support future growth
These investments are about positioning Interstate Waste Services for long-term success while continuing to strengthen the service experience for our customers.
As we head into the heart of summer, I also want to emphasize the importance of safety. This is a busy time for our business, and maintaining safe operations remains a top priority. A strong safety culture helps ensure we continue delivering the reliable service our customers and communities depend on every day.
As our country marks its 250th anniversary, it is worth reflecting on what that milestone represents: growth, resilience, and determination over time. In many ways, our company’s journey mirrors that same spirit. Interstate Waste Services started with a vision and has grown through hard work, perseverance, and a continuous drive to improve. Like the nation we proudly serve, our progress has been built step by step, through commitment and the willingness to adapt and evolve.
We should be proud of how far we have come, but even more focused on the future ahead. There is still more to build, more to improve, and more opportunity in front of us.
