Teaneck, NJ – August 22, 2023 – Interstate Waste Services, Inc. (“IWS”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Middlesex, NJ based Bridgewater Disposal Service. Founded by Vincent Buratti in 1965, Bridgewater Disposal provides non-hazardous solid waste and recycling collection services to residential and commercial customers in central New Jersey, including Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, Warren, Union and Monmouth counties.
IWS is the largest privately held, vertically integrated provider of solid waste collection, transfer, recycling, and disposal services serving the greater New York City and New Jersey markets. The Bridgewater Disposal acquisition expands our central New Jersey commercial, residential, and roll-off dumpster service footprint and allows us to internalize additional volume into our rail-served disposal network.
