Residential Customers

How do I know if I am a Subscription or Municipal Customer?

Subscription Customers:  You subscribe directly through IWS for your waste & recycling service.  You receive an invoice directly from us for your services.

Municipal Customers:  Your city/town has a contract with us to provide you (and all your neighbors) with waste & recycling services.  You do NOT receive an invoice from us directly, but payment for your services is included in your taxes.

New York

Rockland and Orange County

Subscription Customers
  • Christmas trees will be included in customer’s free monthly bulk item pick-up.
Municipal Customers
  • Please check with your local municipality or DPW.

Westchester and Putnam County

Subscription Customers
  • Christmas tree pick-ups will be from Jan 6 – Jan 18. Pick charge may apply, please call the office at (203) 743-0405 to schedule.
Municipal Customers
  • Please check with your local municipality or DPW.

Connecticut

Subscription Customers
  • Christmas tree pick-ups will be from Jan 6 – Jan 18. Pick charge may apply, please call the office at (203) 743-0405 to schedule.

New Jersey

Northern New Jersey

SUBSCRIPTION CUSTOMERS:

BERGEN COUNTY – TEANECK ONLY

  • Christmas trees will be picked up by customer’s local municipality or DPW.

Central New Jersey

SOUTHERN MORRIS, HUNTERDON, MIDDLESEX, MONMOUTH, SOMERSET, MERCER

Subscription Customers
  • Readington Township: Christmas trees will be picked up as they are put out on customer’s normal pick-up day. No special scheduling is required.
  • Bernardsville: Christmas trees will be picked up on their normal bulk pick-up day. Any resident that is twice per week service, will have their Christmas tree removed on the second service day of the week. If customers are driveway service, their Christmas tree must be put curbside for removal and scheduled in advance.
  • Old Bridge: Customer’s will have to call and schedule their Christmas tree pick-up for the next available Saturday.
