Come by and see us at this Saturday’s WFAN’s Yankees Radio Fan Fest.

The event is one for all ages! Stop by Macombs Dam Park and play games, get some free stuff and get the chance to meet current and classic Yankees, including Willie Randolph, David Wells, Bucky Dent, Jim Leyritz, Mickey Rivers, Cecil Fielder and Brian Cashman Plus get a chance to see our Yankee recycling truck in person.


Action And The New York League of Conservation Voters

Our CEO, Ron Bergamini will be participating with the New York League of Conservation Voters Education Fund event on a panel discussing the city’s zero waste goals.

By 2030 the city’s goal is to eliminate waste from going to landfills from residential buildings, commercial establishments, and other large generators of waste. In order to achieve the Zero Waste goal, the city needs to figure out solutions for various complex questions, like where the City’s residential and commercial waste will go instead of landfills and how will we get it there.


NWRA Driver of the Year Award

Every year the NWRA honors drivers who operate their trucks in a safe and responsible manner by holding the Driver of the Year awards. The drivers who are nominated have outstanding performance records, and whose contributions have enhanced the overall safety and image of the solid waste industry. This competition is a great way to recognize your best and safest drivers.

This year we are proud that two of our own were nominated for this award.


Understanding New York City’s New Business Recycling Laws

Back in February of 2016, the DSNY established new recycling rules for businesses throughout all five boroughs of NYC.

The new rules require ALL businesses in New York City to recycle metal, glass, plastic, beverage cartons, paper and cardboard. In addition to having solid waste removal services. Certain businesses are required to recycle other items depending on their size and type.


Fatherly Advice on Father’s Day

Whether you’re celebrating your dad, grandpa, stepdad, or, dad-in-law Father’s Day is a time to recognize and appreciate all of the love and guidance the special men in our lives provide us with. Here at Action we decided to go around the office and ask about everyones fathers and their impact on them. We asked them to either share a favorite piece of advice, ranging from dating to life in general, the funniest classic dad joke, or special memory. Let’s see what the team has to share!


Action at Mets Family Sunday

Citi field is one of the most family friendly ballparks in major league baseball! Bring your kids out to Mets family Sundays to enjoy food, games, and good baseball.

Before every Sunday home game kids are welcome to participate in any of the many activities at Citified. Head over to the Mets Plaza where you’ll find food, music, inflatables, and face painting. The fun doesn’t stop there, once you get inside the ballpark kids are able to go to the fan fest area to play wiffle ball and other various games.
