Gina Wintermute Asks For Supplies For Dog Shelter After Texas Hurricane

Our very own Gina Wintermute from finance is acting fast after this past weeks hurricane in Texas. After this devastating storm, the animal shelter in Port Lavaca was wiped out so they are in need of supplies. The local rescue organization, Big Dog Rescue Project is stepping in.

ginaGina is a longtime volunteer for the local animal rescue Big Dog Rescue Project based in New Jersey. The shelter works closely with animal rescues all across the country. This time our furry friends to the south need our help.

The animal shelter that BDRP partners with in Texas is in Port Lavaca and was hit head on with the Cat 4 hurricane. They are completely wiped out. Many of the foster families also lost everything. The folks from BDRP are going to take a van down to Texas in a few weeks with new supplies to get the shelter up and running.

The shelter is in need of the following items:

 - Leashes
 - Collars
 - Crates and Kennels
 - Flea and Tick Prevention
 - Bowls
 - Toys/nylabones
 - Monetary donations

To donate please contact Gina at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Thank you in advance from Big Dog Rescue Project for anything you can do for us or the people in Texas.
